Rincon de La Vieja is known for its volcanoes and steamy hot thermal waters. Spend 2 nights here exploring the area and enjoying the thermal waters and bubbling mud.
Then continue to Monteverde in the Central Valley. Here you will explore the canopy of the rainforest from hanging bridges and zip lines. This unique "birds eye" view will give you an experience that you will never forget!
After touring the rainforest, you will continue to Guanacaste to relax on the beach, enjoy the amenities of your hotel, or explore the area on an optional tour.
Day 1 – Miami/Liberia
Flight to Liberia, Costa Rica. Upon arrival, transfer to your in Rincon de la Vieja.
Day 2 - San Jose/Rincon de La Vieja
Breakfast at the hotel. Today, take a shared tour to Rincon de la Vieja Volcano National Park. Created to protect the flora and fauna surrounding the volcano, you will be able to relax in the thermal waters known as “Las Hornillas” and “Las Pailas”, sulfur ponds and bubbling mud. Check into your hotel for overnight stay.
Day 3 - Rincon de La Vieja/Monteverde
After breakfast at the hotel you will be picked up at the hotel to be taken by private ground transfer from Rincon de la Vieja to Monteverde. Upon arrival, check in to your hotel for overnight stay.
Day 4 - Monteverde
Breakfast at the hotel, followed by a walkways (hanging bridges) and canopy tour. This canopy tour consists of 15 zip line cables and 18 platforms. On this tour the visitors will be zipped through each of the cables using safety harnesses made of the best climbing gear available. The activity is an adventurous tour that elevates adrenaline to the maximum while keeping the highest standard of safety in all Costa Rica. The walkways are simply the best way to observe the cloud forest canopy. The hanging bridges give you the advantage of being able to take your time to observe each of the forest levels. Return to your hotel for overnight.
Day 5 - Monteverde/Guanacaste
After breakfast at the hotel, your private ground transfer will pick you up at the hotel to take you from Monteverde to the Guanacaste beach area. Check in and overnight at your selected hotel in Guanacaste.
Day 6 - 9 - Guanacaste
Enjoy the days at leisure to relax on the beach, enjoy the amenities of your hotel, or explore the area.
Day 8 - Liberia /Miami
Transfer to the airport for your flight back home.
