Day 1 – Miami/San Jose
Flight to San Jose, Costa Rica. Upon arrival in San Jose, transfer to your hotel.

Day 2 - San Jose/Tortuguero
Early in the morning, take a ground & boat transfer from San Jose to Tortuguero. Breakfast on the way. Upon arrival have lunch at the lodge. In the afternoon, take a shared walking tour to Tortuguero village. Dinner at the lodge and overnight.

Day 3 - Tortuguero
Enjoy a morning boat tour of the Tortuguero National Park. The journey takes you through the canals at dawn so that you can take out your camera to capture a real Caribbean sunrise. Tortuguero is one of the wilderness areas in Costa Rica, exuberant, paradisiacal and mystical network of natural scenic and navigable waterways. This National Park is one of the most exotic and beautiful region of the country, rich in flora and fauna, here you will find the greatest biological variety, 11 habitats had been identified, such as 2000 species of plants and 400 species of trees. Rest of the day at leisure, lunch and dinner included at the lodge.

Day 4 - Tortuguero/Sarapiqui
Breakfast at the lodge, then you will be picked up at the lodge to be taken by shared boat and ground transfers from Tortuguero to Guapiles where you will have lunch. After lunch, take a private ground transfer to Sarapiqui; check in to your selected hotel for the next 2 nights.

Day 5 - Sarapiqui White Water Rafting
Breakfast at the hotel. Today, take a white water rafting tour on Sarapiqui River. Rapids on the Sarapiqui River are Class II and III, La Virgen - Chilamate section. An exquisite day, more than 20 rapids while surrounded by the spectacular scenery of the tropical rain forest. Sarapiqui is a dream for white water rafting: natural waters, risky rapids, and crystalline pools. Enjoy the natural splendor and abundance of wildlife. Return and enjoy the afternoon at leisure to explore the area on your own.

Day 6 - Sarapiqui/Arenal
After breakfast, pick up from your hotel for your private ground transfer to Arenal; arrival and check in to your selected hotel for the next 2 nights.

Day 7 - Sky Tram (Aerial Tram) & Sky Trek (Canopy Tour)
After breakfast, pick up from your hotel for a tour to explore the rainforest from above. Sky Tram and Sky Trek is an aerial tram above the rain forest from where visitors can appreciate the Arenal Volcano and the Arenal Lake from a different perspective. It is an ideal tour for people of all ages and suitable for those with disabilities since it has wheelchair access. The tour starts from the reception of the main building and finishes in an observation platform at the highest point of the Arenal Reserve. The tram takes about 20 minutes to reach the observation platform, with the possibility of making intermediate stops. It is a guided tour and it includes a 25 minute walk in the rain forest. To descend from the platform, it can be done either on the aerial tram or on the Sky Trek canopy tour, to enjoy the rain forest from many different views. Afterward, return to your hotel for the rest of the day at leisure.

Day 8 - Celeste River Tour
After breakfast, pick up from your hotel for a tour of the Celeste River. Upon your arrival to Tenorio Volcano National Park, you begin a 7 km hike (approximately 4 hours) through the tropical rain forest. You will arrive to “Los Teñíderos” of the Rio Celeste, the site where two streams of crystalline water come together and form the heavenly color blue that gives the river its name. The tour returns through trails, rich with ecological wonders, that lead us to the “OLLAS” -- openings in the earth where we can excavate healing muds, take a mud bath, and a dip in the natural hot springs all while observing the attractions of Tenorio Volcano. You’ll continue the hike through the jungle to seek out the volcano’s furnace vents that expel gases of extreme high temperatures. On the decent we will get to see the spectacular Rio Celeste waterfall whose colour makes it one of a kind. The final reward is an exquisite Costa Rican typical lunch at the end of our journey. Afterward, return to your hotel for the rest of the day at leisure.

Day 9 - Arenal/San Jose
After breakfast, check out of your hotel for a private ground transfer to San Jose; arrival and check into your hotel.

Day 10 - San Jose/Miami
Transfer to the airport for your flight back home.
