Tour Overview:

After 2 nights of adventure at the Arenal Volcano, you journey to the Hotel Punta Islita to relax. Situated in the Nicoya Peninsula, Hotel Punta Islita opened its doors in 1994 evolving from a traditional Costa Rican cattle & timber hacienda to a world-class boutique destination that has remained true to the rich customs and traditions of the Guanacaste Province. Here you can choose from a menu of activities, spa treatments, or simply relax and enjoy the fine dining, beautiful beaches and surroundings.

Daily Itinerary:

Arenal Volcano

Hotel Punta Islita

Day 1 – Miami/San Jose
Flight to San Jose, Costa Rica. Upon arrival in San Jose, transfer to your hotel.

Day 2 - San Jose/Arenal
Transfer by private car to the Arenal Volcano, the second most active volcano in the world. Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel. In the afternoon, see from up close the activities of the great colossus, its constant emissions of gases, vapors of water, and explosions of fireworks. Follow this with a fabulous and healthful bath in the hot springs. This tour leaves around 4:00 pm from the different hotels in the region. Dinner at the Kioro resort included.

Day 3 - Arenal
Morning Arenal Hanging Bridges: Located within the corridor followed by birds migrating between North and South America, the trails and bridges of this project will bring you as close as you could ever hope to get to the birds, the flowers and the lush vegetation of the primary rain forest. You will be able to walk right into the forest, thanks to the imposing hanging bridges and the beautiful trails that are safe and easy to walk on. In the afternoon return to your hotel to rest. Optional afternoon tours available including zip line tours, caving, horseback riding and more. Enquire with your destination specialist for more information.

Day 4 – Arenal/Punta Islita
After breakfast, transfer to the airport for your flight to Punta Islita. Upon arrival, transfer to the hotel and check in.

Day 5, 6, 7
Enjoy the days at leisure at the hotel. Take part in the many activities (please see optional list below) or relax on the beach.

Day 8 – Punta Islita/San Jose/Miami
Transfer to the airport for your flight back home. End of services.
